Marta Spizewska, Lead Stylist Wella:

Fashion Week is on again and we kicked off the week with a great show for Spon Diogo. The hair was a really cool Mohawk-looking up-do which we made out of 3-5 ponytails starting on top of the head and going down in a straight line to the back of the head. The inspiration behind was a fearless warrior mixed with the flow of a horse that raises its tail - and with the free-flowing hair together with the very sleek and sharp sides it really made its mark on the catwalk. This look is a look you can definitely re-do at home, I would just suggest making the ponytails a bit shorter but keep the wire to give them an edge, and then make sure that the ponytails are in the same line so when you look at it from the front you can only see the first ponytail.
While half the team where doing Spon Diogo the other half were working hard on Ole Yde's amazing up-do which where miles apart from Spon Diogo. This is on the other hand not an up-do I would recommend doing at home - or I can just say it will be hard to do by yourself. But beautiful it was.
We finished off Wednesday with Karen by Simonsen at City Hall. A very beautiful, classic look, but yet with a twist. The key is to first take away the fringe, then create the tight bun and afterwards place the fringe so it covers a big part of the forehead, the one ear and goes all the way to the back and is integrated in the bun. This way the fringe is both a part of the hair but seen from some angles it almost looks like a hat.
